Party submission to AUKUS public inquiry
Written by: CPA (M-L) on 9 August 2026
The Public Inquiry into AUKUS, convened by concerned Australians following the government’s refusal to hold a parliamentary inquiry, has so far received close to 600 submissions, the overwhelming majority of which refute the need for Australia to spend $368 billion to acquire 8 nuclear-powered submarines.
The CPA (M-L) has now submitted its own paper to the Inquiry, and it can be downloaded here.
